Our Worship

It is our belief that the worship activities of the church is both a time for spiritual renewal and a time of drawing closer to God.  In our worship we recognize:

1.  The presence of God:  We see that He is here, in all that we do!
    Matthew 18:20

2.  The holiness of God: We encounter His holiness, and recognize that He is sacred and unique!
    Isaiah 55:8,9

3.  The power and knowledge of God: We stand in awe of His great power, and His wisdom!
    Isaiah 26:4

4.  The love of God: We are encouraged by the love and grace that He has shown to us!
    Isaiah 49:13

Therefore, our worship to God is both an "edification" (learning and building) experience and an "emotional" (standing in awe) experience.  Each worship experience is unique in its own way.  For this web page, we have tried to capture a typical worship service.  Although most follow a format such as this, occasionally we do vary.  We believe that there are five basic aspects of worship that was practiced in the New Testament and that we should practice today.  These five consist of the following:

1.  Bible Study: learning God's Word and His will for our lives.

2.  The Lord's Supper: A time to spiritually commune with God and meditate on his wonderful blessings found in Jesus Christ.

3.  Giving back to God: Funds collected to help the church to grow and spread God's love around the world.

4.  Prayer: Devoting ourselves to calling on God to intervene and act in our lives.

5.  Singing: Making music in our hearts as we sing praises to God and glorify His name.
