All of us are Ministers!

The Ministry System at Orangevale Church of Christ is designed to serve our Lord by meeting the needs of members and the community which we serve, by involving members in areas of service in which they can exercise their special talents and interests. More than twenty ministries provide extensive opportunities for individual involvement and service. To visit each ministry please click below:

Each Ministry Team consists of volunteers. A Team Leader or steering team decides the direction of that particular ministry for the year and plans any activities.

Each January, a Ministries Fair is held under the direction of the Involvement Ministry. The Fair provides an opportunity for the ministries to showcase their plans for the coming year and solicit new volunteers for services. When members see a need that is not being met by a current ministry, they are encouraged to begin a new ministry to meet that need.

Some people seem to think that ministering means doing something you really don’t want to do and then sticking with it to show your love for God. But God says He has given every believer a unique blend of abilities for the purpose of making a difference in the lives of others. People enjoy doing what they do well. And, when people do what they enjoy - what they were made for - they’re fulfilled, energized, and effective. Our purpose in Ministry Connections is to help you discover where you could be most effective in ministry. Besides the opportunity for every member to re-evaluate themselves in January, there is an opportunity to explore your own life and the various ministries at Orangevale Church of Christ throughout the year.
